Explanation
The structure in volcanic rock consists of many round, oval or tubular cavities of different sizes. It is a cavity left by the overflow of gas contained in the pressure reduction of magma after eject. It is common in basalt, rhyolite, pumice, and also in some sub volcanic rock and ultra hypabyssal intrusive rocks.
