Explanation
A method for making superconducting wire rod was proposed by A.R. Kaufman et al. in 1969. The method is to place the pure niobium bar in bronze (Sn Cu alloy) and process to obtain multi-core niobium/bronze composition wire rod. During heat treatment. Tin (Sn) in bronze diffuses diffusion to niobium (Nb) fiber, and reacts with niobium core to generate superconductor. The superconducting wire rod made by this method. It is called i-bronze method Nb: iSn superconducting wire rod.
