Ratio of the yield strength of the materials to its tensile strength. yield ratio is related to plastic deformation ability and work hardening ability of the materials. The better the plasticity of materials and the higher the work hardening capacity, the greater the difference between the tensile strength and yield strength. The yield ratio is of great significance for ultra-high strength steel. Increasing the yield strength, that is, increasing the yield ratio, can improve the service stress of materials, but when the yield ratio is too high, the safety of use will be reduced.
