Explanation
A geometric component assembled in a certain arrangement by a group of fuel rods or fuel plates. There is no need to disassemble during loading, unloading, use, and transportation. In PWR, fuel assembly is usually composed of 14X14 to 17X17 fuel rods bundled together, and fuel assembly is about 4m long. In BWR fuel assembly, there are 91, 92 or 96 fuel rods in each assembly.
