Explanation
Artificial devices that can replace the function of heart valves, used as replacements for diseased heart valves, to save patients' lives or improve their quality of life. The human heart has four valves to control the flow of blood through the heart in a single direction. When valve disease occurs, such as valve stenosis or incomplete closure, an artificial valve needs to be replaced.
