Explanation
It is also called malleable iron and malleable cast steel. The white cast iron is toughened and degraded to make all or most of the carbon in it change from carburizing to flocculent graphite, and at the same time obtain ferrite matrix or pearlite matrix structure, so as to have better plasticity and toughness of cast iron.
