Lyotmpic liquid crystals refers to a composition containing two or more compounds, including solvent, that appears liquid crystal phase within a certain concentration range because the solvent destroys the crystal lattice of solute molecules. Lyotmpic liquid crystals widely exists in nature and organisms, such as simple soapy water, ionic and non-ionic surfactants, biomembrane, etc., all present the characteristics of lyotmpic liquid crystals
