Explanation
The oxide mineral with simple shelf structure is homogeneous with rutile and brookite. Its chemical formula is TiO2. It occurs in Alpine vein, magmatic rocks and metamorphic rock, and can also be seen in placer ores. It is the raw mineral material for extracting titanium
