Explanation

A type of debris with a particle size of 0.05-2mm. It is generally divided into natural sand and artificial sand. Natural sand mountain is formed by weathering and crushing of various rock exposed on the surface, mainly composed of quartze, feldspar, mica and magnetite, and widely distributed in Quaternary sediments, modern rivers, lakes, beaches and desert areas. Artificial sand is crushed from rock. Sand does not have cohesiveness and plasticity, but has good water permeability.
