Explanation
A thermo-chemical treatment process in which steel parts are put into a medium with a certain carbon activity for heating and insulation to increase the carbon content in the surface layer of steel parts. According to different carbon containing media, it can be divided into liquid carburizing, homogeneous carburizing, gas carburizing, etc.
