Explanation
Also known as direct deoxygenation, deoxidizer or composition deoxidizer such as block ferromanganese, ferrosilicon, silicon manganese alloy or aluminum is added into the steel liquid to combine it with the oxygen in steel to generate deoxidation products, which are separated from the steel liquid and floated up into slag, so as to reduce the oxygen content in steel.
