Explanation
A regional metamorphic rock rich in quartze with schistose structure. The mineral composition is mainly quartze and acid plagioclase, and other minerals are seridte, chlorite, muscovilte, black mica, etc. The total content of quartze and feldspar is more than 50%, and the content of feldspar is less than 25%. It is different from general schist in that quartze content is more, and the difference from gneiss is that feldspar content is less than quartze. According to the type of schistose minerals, it can be further divided into seridte quartz schist Muscovite quartz schist, etc. They are siltstone or intermediate acid volcanic rock formed by middle and low grade metamorphism
