It is also called cavity less casting. When polystyrene foamed plastics mold is used for molding and casting can be performed without pulling out the mold, foamed plastics is heated, combustion and vaporized. Its position is filled with liquid metal. After cooling, it becomes the same casting as the mold. There is no need to lift the mold, no parting surface, and generally no need to use a mold core. Therefore, the casting size is more accurate, and there are no flash or burrs, which can save a lot of cleaning work.
