Explanation
Aqueous rock, also called sedimentary rock, is a type of rock, which is formed by the gradual accumulation, compaction and consolidation of sediments over a long period of time. These sediments can include detrital rock debris, sand, mud, clay, chemical sediment, organic matter, etc. They are gradually accumulated on the surface or at the bottom of the water body through the action of water.
