Also called polycondensation reaction reaction. monomer containing two or more functional groups undergoes a condensation reaction to remove small molecular by-products (water, alcohol, ammonia, hydrogen halide, etc.) and generate a polymerization reaction of macromolecule compounds. The main feature of polycondensation reaction reaction: the growth of macromolecule chain is a gradual process. polycondensation reaction can be divided into linear polycondensation and three-dimensional polycondensation. Linear polycondensation reaction refers to that monomer has only two functional groups and macromolecule grows in two directions. The resulting polymer is linear molecule; three-dimensional polycondensation reaction means that at least one monomer contains more than two functional groups, and macromolecule grows in multiple directions to obtain polymer with body type structure. According to the reaction properties, it can be divided into balanced (reversible) polycondensation reaction and unbalanced (irreversible) polycondensation reaction. According to different preparation methods, it can be divided into meltphase polycondensation reaction, interfacial polycondensation reaction, solution polycondensation reaction reaction, lotion polycondensation reaction reaction, gas phase polycondensation reaction reaction, solid phase polycondensation reaction reaction, etc.
