Explanation
A general term for in-phase materials consisting only of carbon atoms but with different structures. Previously, they mainly included diamond, graphite and carbene. With the progress of science, fullerene, carbon nanotube and graphite discovered in recent years that can exist stably are also considered as carbon allotrope.
