Explanation

The components with different compositions, textures or different particle sizes in rock or ores are arranged in strips in a certain direction. The stripes are parallel or approximately parallel to each other, with varying widths and colors. It is mainly found in metamorphic rocks or rock and ores of hydrothermal and magmatic origin.
