Explanation
Turquoise, also known as "turquoise", is named for its "shape like a pine ball and color close to pine green". The English name turquoise means Türkiye stone. Türkiye does not produce turquoise. It is said that turquoise produced in ancient Persia was transported to Europe via Türkiye and got its name.
