Explanation
In the process of separating adhesive from compact, the common degreasing methods are thermal degreasing and solvent degreasing. Thermal degreasing is a method of removing adhesive from the green body by heating the green body to volatilize or decompose the components of the binder. Solvent degreasing is a process in which the solvent penetrates into the billet continuously and dissolves the soluble part of adhesive in the billet.
