The main minerals are feldspar, quartze, biotite, muscovilte, pyroxene, hornblende, etc. According to mineral composition, it can be divided into granite, gabbro, and orthoclase, but granite is common. Coarse mineral crystal are characteristic, and a few mineral crystal can reach several tons. For example, the huge beryl crystal in the granite of Altai region in Xinjiang, China, weighs about 50 tons. The main minerals related to this are rare metal elements such as Nb, Ta, Be, Li, and rare earth element deposits. Some important non-metallic deposits are also closely related. Such as muscovilte, crystal, topaz, corundum and feldspar deposits. Some pegmatite rich in potassium feldspar can be used as raw materials for ceramics; The potassium rich syenite pegmatite is the raw material for extracting potassium; pegmatite with special graphic texture can be used as decorative stone. In recent years, a lepidolite bearing granitic pegmatite i rock was found in Altai, Xinjiang. It is a rock mainly composed of lepidolite aggregates, fine in texture and bright in color. It is a precious lilac jade material.
