Explanation
Circular structured sulfide minerals. The crystal are columnar, sometimes needle shaped, and the aggregates are dense, massive, earthy, and granular. Orange red, with light orange stripes. diamond luster, fracture surface is resin luster. Transparent to semi transparent. It occurs in low-temperature hydrothermal deposits and is often associated with orpiment, stibnite, pyrite, caldte, quartze, etc. It is an important raw mineral material for arsenic extraction, commonly used in traditional Chinese medicine.
