Explanation
Also known as serpentine jade and xiuyan jade. It is a mineral aggregate of jade grade formed in the process of geological process, mainly composed of fine serpentine. Secondary minerals include caldte, talc, magnetite, dolomite, magnesite, chlorite, tremolite, diopside, chromite, etc. The content of secondary minerals varies greatly and has a significant impact on their quality. In some cases, the content of secondary minerals can exceed half and increase to become the main constituent minerals. It is named after its main origin in Xiuyan, Liaoning. Colors include yellow green, dark green, green, grayish yellow, white, brown, black, and various combinations of colors. See serpentine.
