The crystal structure of dolomite is similar to that of caldte. The crystal form is rhombohedron, and the crystal plane is often bent into a saddle shape. The polycrystalline twin is common, mostly in massive and granular aggregates. Pure dolomite is white, sometimes it is grayish green, grayish yellow, pink and other colors due to the inclusion of other elements and impurities, and glass is shiny. Three sets of rhombohedra have complete cleavage and brittle properties.
