Coordination type sulfide minerals. There are 5 homogeneous polymorphisms and multiple super structural types, including hexagonal, monoclinic, and oblique. Pyrrhothe is a iron vulcanization mineral in the pyrrhothe family. Its composition contains 40% sulfur, so it can be used to make sulfuric acid. When the nickel content is high, nickel can be extracted from it. Pyrrhothe has metallic luster, which is dark bronze yellow with red. Generally, it occurs in copper nickel vulcanization deposit in block shape. If pyrrhothe is on the surface, it is easy to be weathered into limonite.
