Explanation
The magnetite crystal belongs to the oxide mineral of equiaxed crystal system, and the crystal is usually octahedral and rhombic dodecahedral, and the aggregate is granular or massive. The intact single crystal is octahedral or rhombic dodecahedron in shape, and when it is rhombic dodecahedron, the rhombic plane often has stripes parallel to the long diagonal direction of the crystal plane. Aggregates are dense block or granular.
