Also called long-range order or the secondary structure of polymers. It mainly refers to the single chain or multi chain or larger scale structure of macromolecule. The size and shape of the entire macromolecule chain are studied. The size of macromolecule chain is generally expressed by molecular weight. The shape of macromolecule chain generally includes extended chain structure, folded chain structure, random coil structure, etc. It is a unique structure of macromolecule (small molecules do not exist). macromolecule affects the flexibility of macromolecule chain, resulting in high elasticity of macromolecule.
