Also known as secondary transition, the loose motion of amorphous macromolecule in the small x domain molecular motion unit below the glass transition temperature. This motion is reflected in the dynamic mechanical temperature spectrum as various internal friction peaks. The secondary transition has a great influence on the mechanical properties of macromolecule in glassy state state, especially on the initial properties at low temperature. The macromolecule used at low temperature shall have a secondary transition with a transformation temperature lower than the use temperature.
