The main chain of macromolecule is a synthetic fiber made of heterochain polymer containing not only carbon atoms, but also oxygen, nitrogen or sulfur and other atoms. heterochain polymer are usually formed by condensation polymerization of bifunctional monomer or ring opening polymerization from heterocyclic compounds. There are many kinds of heterochain fiber.
