A linear polymer containing branched chains in the main chain has the same basic structure as the main chain. When chain transfer reaction exists in polymerization, such polymer will be generated. According to the degree of branching, there can be various topological structures, such as comb shaped, centipine shaped, and dumbbell shaped. The simplest is that there are two branches on the macromolecule chain.
