Explanation

The device for molten steel transition between the ladle and mold of the continuous caster is used to stabilize the steel flow, reduce the erosion of steel flow on the shell, float non-metallic inclusions and improve the quality of the slab. For multi strand continuous caster, it is used to separate molten steel, and plays a connecting role when changing ladle for multi furnace continuous casting. In recent years, tundish metallurgy has also been widely carried out. The capacity of tundish is generally 20% -40% of that of ladle.
