Also known as scrolling. alloy structural steel suitable for making balls, rollers, needles and inner and outer rings of rolling bearings. rolling bearings bear great periodic stress loads during operation, and contact fatigue damage such as pitting and spalling often occurs on the surface of rolling elements and rings. rolling and sliding friction will cause obvious wear and local damage caused by stress concentration. Therefore, it should have high compressive strength and contact fatigue strength, high and uniform hardness and wear resistance, high elasticity limit, good dimensional stability, and certain toughness and corrosion resistance. For this reason, the normal bearing steel generally uses about 1% carbon content, and adds an appropriate amount of chromium (0.5% -1.65%) to obtain high contact fatigue strength, compressive strength, wear resistance, elasticity limit and corrosion resistance, and has high purity to improve the contact fatigue resistance. G is added before steel designation to indicate bearing steel. According to the different components and uses of bearing steel, it can generally be divided into high carbon chromium bearing steel, carburizing bearing steel, corrosion-resistam bearing steel and high temperature bearing steel.
