Explanation

A typical type of clastic limestone. It is characterized by that gravel is round, oval and flat, arranged parallel to bedding, and gravel is in bamboo leaf shape on the section. gravel vary in size (generally several centimeters to more than ten centimeters long), have relatively single composition (mostly argillaceous caldte), and have a yellow or purplish red iron oxide color circle on the edge. The cement is microcrystalline or fine-grained caldte with local dolomitization. The Cambrian and Ordovician strata are widely distributed in North China.
