Explanation

In converter, pig iron is smelting into steel by relying on the physical heat of molten iron and the chemical heat of chemical reaction with oxygen. The raw materials are high temperature molten iron and scrap. The process flow includes charging, oxygen supply, slag forming, temperature control, endpoint control, deoxidation and tapping. The smelting process mostly adopts static and dynamic automatic control. The blowing time is 12-20min, the smelting cycle is 25-40min, the maximum furnace capacity can reach more than 400t, and the current mainstream furnace type is 100? 300t.
